An adventure of my life time!

DSC09867

Devil’s Causeway is a narrow strip of land in the heart of the Flat Tops Wilderness Area. A 6 miles hike will allow you to experience fear and thrill.

I’ve read that nearly everyone who attempted to cross was brought to his or her knees. As we reached one end of the “bridge”, I understood why. At 11,800 feet, this “land bridge” is roughly 50 feet long and 3 feet wide in places—with shear drops of several hundred feet on either side! Neither of us wanted to risk our lives to cross. We were just happy to see it with our own eyes—no pictures can do justice to the awe-inspiring feelings we felt.

  1. Xing, thanks for continuing to share all your adventures! Flat Tops looks great; I think I’ll plan to go there next year. And I’m so glad you have a traveling companion now! All the best-
    Leslie

    • I’m glad you kept on reading my posts, Leslie. If you need any information, I would be happy to share what I know.
Having a travel companion is great. But it is only temporary. One day I will have to start traveling solo again. At least I have the ability to travel alone. 🙂

  2. Where is this?
